At Spring Place Baptist Church, our purpose is simple and intentional: to equip believers to walk faithfully with Christ and to impact lives with the hope of the gospel. We believe God designed the church to thrive when every member is actively involved, using the gifts He has given them to serve others (Ephesians 4:11–12). Ministry isn’t something done by a few while the rest watch—it’s a shared calling. When everyone plays a part, disciples are strengthened, the church is unified, and our community is reached in powerful ways. At Spring Place, there is a place for you to serve, grow, and make a real difference as we pursue God’s mission together.
Audio-Visual
This team is responsible for the audio and video portion of the Sunday services. This includes being able to run the sound system, lighting, video camera, in-house TVs, and Live Stream. A member of this team will need to be present at all Praise Team monthly practices and Sunday morning rehearsals. Their service is critical to the success of

Buildings & Grounds
This team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the building and grounds of the church. Their service keeps the church property looking good and functioning properly.
Bus Ministry
This team is responsible for transporting those in the community who would like to attend SPBC but do not have transportation. The van runs before and after Sunday and Wednesday activities (as well as all week during VBS). Their service allows those who do not have transportation to be a part of our weekly activities.
Wings of Grace Clothes Closet
This team is responsible for receiving and organizing clothing donations. Wings of Grace is open to the public every Tuesday from 5:15-7:00 pm and on additional specified dates.
Missions
This team is responsible for finding, planning, and leading local, national, and international mission opportunities.
Operation Christmas Child
This team is responsible for promoting, organizing, and collecting shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The shoe boxes will be packed in early November, but collection takes place all year long.
Impact Team
This team is in charge of all of our local outreach. This would include community events, service projects, and visitor follow- up.
Social Media
This team is in responsible for all of our online presence. This team functions as the doorway to all of our digital guests, and they are the primary “first impression” team.
Food Pantry
The food pantry receives donations and packages bags of food for those in the community who are in need. The Food Pantry is open on Thursdays from 10am- noon.
Welcome Team
The welcome team is responsible for being the first point of contact for guests before Small Group and Service on Sunday mornings. The team will be set up at various locations to answer questions and guide people to the appropriate area.
Hospitality
Team helps is responsible for decorating the facilities, including special seasons (Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day,) and special occasions (Church parties, fellowships, etc,). Their service helps create spaces where our church family can connect, celebrate, and grow together in love.
Men's Ministry
This team is responsible for planning men’s ministry events and Bible studies for the purpose of fellowship and discipleship.
Women's Ministry
This team is responsible for planning women’s ministry events and Bible studies for the purpose of fellowship and discipleship.
Security
This team is responsible for ensuring the safety of everyone on the campus. They will look for threats, ensure doors are secured, and be in charge of the overall campus safety.
Praise Team
This team leads our music ministry as a part of our Sunday morning Worship Service. You must audition to be on this team. The team meets regularly for practice, and they also warm-up/rehearse on Sunday mornings 45 minutes before Small Group.
